The Thea Anderson Scholarship Fund was created to honor the life of Thea Anderson, daughter of Rhythm & Motion Founder Consuelo Faust and Thor Anderson. Thea was a dancer, a creative social activist, and a teacher. Each year the award will be given to a young person between the ages of 18-25 who is committed to dance and social justice. The award will subsidize technical training at the ODC School and offer mentorship with ODC Founder and Artistic Director Brenda Way and ODC School Director Kimi Okada.
Dancers will submit written applications to be considered.
