Berkeley Ballet Theater’s Work Exchange Program

Berkeley Ballet Theater is looking for part-time work exchange receptionists to facilitate classes and studio rentals in exchange for free classes in the Adult Open Division.

The Position:
Work Exchange volunteers will be present 8:30am – 1pm and 3:30 – 7:30pm M-F, and 8am – 12pm and 12pm – 4pm on the weekends. For each hour worked, Work Exchange volunteers will receive one free class (regardless of class length) in the Adult Open Division.

Qualified candidates will be able to:
-Provide great customer service while greeting students as they enter the studios
-Exhibit professionalism with a pleasant demeanor
-Assist students as they sign into class using MindBody software
-Perform basic janitorial and maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, turning off and on heat, cleaning studios, etc.
-*no prior dance experience is necessary!
