Latinx Aesthetics in Dance

In collaboration with the Festival of Latin American Contemporary Choreographers (FLACC), the Latinx Research Center, and the Performance and Art in the Americas Working Group, the Dance Studies Working Group at UC Berkeley is hosting the panel discussion Latinx Aesthetics in Dance, which features local and international choreographers talking about the role of aesthetics and embodiment in contemporary dance. Juan Manuel Aldape Muñoz, Ph.D. Candidate in performance studies, will facilitate a discussion with dance makers Randy Reyes (Oakland), Fabiola Guillén (Mexico), and Vanessa Sanchez (San Francisco).
