Sat, Dec 8, 2:30-5pm
Alonzo King Lines Ballet, SF
An informal audition to be apart of Khala Brannigan’s newest work, Bones to be premiered at the Joe Goode Annex, March 1st and 2nd 2019.
“Bones are a symbol of death and rebirth – a research of the soul. Though we may not share the same personal histories in society, bones could symbolize the truth of equality – once we dig deeper, we find that we all share the same matter.”
I am looking for dancers with strong ballet and modern technique with a willingness to share their own stories of resilience through movement.
The ensemble will be paid an honorarium fee for the project. Rehearsals will start in January/February 2019. Exact dates and hours are TBD.
If interested, please attend an informal audition on Saturday, Dec 8 from 2:30pm-5:00pm at Alonzo King Lines Dance Center, Studio 5. Free of charge. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP and reserve your spot.
