Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of UC Berkeley’s dance program, Berkeley Dance Project 2019 will feature original pieces by professional Bay Area choreographers Joe Goode, Rulan Tangen, Latanya Tigner, and Cherie Hill, as well as a student choreographer from the program. Dance program co-founder and Professor Emerita Marni Wood will be present for a short residency, including a discussion of the program’s history on February 21. The online ticket link closes 2 hours before showtime. After that, you may purchase tickets at the door, depending upon availability. Thu-Sat, Feb 21–Mar 2, 8pm, $18 online in advance, $20 at the door. Discounts available for Seniors, Students and UC Berkeley Staff & Faculty.
