Week One of CubaCaribe features Alayo Dance Company performing two World Premieres "Calle," co-choreographed by Ramos and Jamaica Itule, "Manos de Mujeres Cubanas" by Ramos and "Goodbye" (2016). CubaCaribe, now in its 14th year, is highly acclaimed for being the only festival to present popular, contemporary and folkloric cultural expression, religion, history, and politics of the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora.
