Sympathy For A Slacker asks for sympathy when there may be none, or perhaps underserving of. I wonder if this type of unabashed self-indulgent work (coming from a self-proclaimed slacker) feeds into my own romanticized sense of victimized ego, or aims at cathartic bettering and a release of habitual self-loathing. Perhaps it's a little bit of both, I don't know, whatever. Fri-Sun, Jun 2-4, 8p, $15-25. Photo by Gerry Serrano
