Contributed By:  Tamalpa Institute

See more: discounts , july , workshops

This workshop introduces participants to the scoring process and the RSVP Cycles, developed by renowned dance pioneer Anna Halprin and distinguished architect Lawrence Halprin. This unique process is designed to generate individual and group creativity, what energizes it and how it functions. It was further expanded upon by Anna Halprin in the performance realm to become an essential method for generating and devising original performance work.

Through scoring, participants will experience working with somatic movement and Tamalpa Body Part Mythology. Participants will have the opportunity to explore, perform and reflect on the process through creating their own dances.

Participants will take home new resources for personal and/ or professional creative use.
