We’re seeking a grant writer with particular skill in editing & synthesizing complex ideas, someone who brings an experienced & critical eye to help articulate how our programs & values align with each funders’ vision for giving. Support tracking our development calendar / prospect research is also desired. We apply to ~20 entities per year.

Our institutional fundraising team includes the Executive Director and Program & Communications Manager, who typically do the initial drafting of grant applications, reports, budget & attachments. Our grant writer’s primary role is to edit narrative (often helping to edit to length) & offer critical feedback. JGPG began an Equity Initiative in Nov 2019; still early in our journey towards true equity, we’re seeking someone versed in antiracist work and is willing to be with us in our process & growth.

Compensation/Structure:
Part-time; we have a budget of $12,000/yr ($1,000/mo) for this role, which could be paid hourly or as a flat rate/salary.
