FLACC seeks a Managing Director to lead the Festival as it enters its 8th season in 2021.
The Managing Director will provide leadership for the planning and operation of the dance festival and associated events, including support for production management, marketing, fundraising, budgeting, outreach, and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is someone who is detailed and organized, dedicated to building relationships and community among artists, and passionate about increasing representation, visibility and opportunity for Chicanx, Latinx, and Indigenous dance makers in the Bay Area and internationally.
The Managing Director will work closely with the Artistic Director to maintain and develop relationships with Chicanx, Latinx, and Indigenous artists, expand accessibility of the Festival across ability and language, coordinate and manage FLACC’s annual performance series, and oversee the launch of a Festival archive.
