Cal Performances is seeking short term workers for AileyCamp from Wed, June 23 – Fri, July 23.

Group Leaders/Teaching Assistants:
Pay is $16.07 per hour, with overtime earned after 40 hours in a week.

The Group Leaders/Teaching Assistants will supervise, support, and mentor campers as they move through their camp day, as needed demonstrate and help campers learn dance steps, and assist them with activities in other classes. Group leaders are responsible for a group of 8 to 16 campers, rotating through a schedule of early morning responsibilities, and assisting instructors and providing support to campers throughout the day. Twice a week or more often, Group Leaders will also be responsible for leading their campers in a creative and/or team-building lesson. The individual will be performing the required duties both remotely and in person on campus as needed.

Jazz Dance Instructor:
Pay is $3,680 total.

The individual will teach, model and support student learning in and through dance techniques to the AileyCampers. Specific techniques in Jazz. The dance faculty consists of four instructors working collaboratively with the Artistic Director, Managing Director, Guidance Counselor, Creative Communications instructor, Personal Development instructor, and a staff of Group Leaders to ensure a supportive professional environment. The individual will be performing the required duties mostly remotely, but there may be in-person assignments that will require the individual to be on campus as needed. Completion of campus-required COVID-19 training and testing (as applicable) for individuals working on campus is required.

Modern Dance Instructor:
Pay is $3,680 total.
