This is a six-week, socially-distanced class with Johnny Huy Nguyen in the outdoor Plaza of the Presidio Theatre.

Jack, swivel, and stomp! Learn the fundamental grooves and footwork patterns of house music and house dance.
House is a celebration of life, and living that is characterized by its high energy, loose feel, intricate footwork, polyrhythmic movements, and signature groove: The Jack.
This six-week class will introduce you to new combinations each week while also helping you understand the culture and history of house. House is a Black, queer, diasporic street dance and social dance form originating in the 1970s in underground clubs in Chicago and New York City. It is now danced worldwide.
This class will encourage you to develop confidence in your own freestyle while learning about yourself and others through dance.
