Join us for our monthly series featuring in-depth workshops and labs exploring the kinesthetic principles and mechanics involved in kathak dance.
This month’s workshop focuses on how the most vital muscle in your body helps facilitate ease of movement and postural transformation. Participants learn how to engage, release, lengthen and tone the psoas so as to bear weight properly and fluidly for efficiency and speed in the execution of kathak technique including footwork, pirouettes and movement.
