The Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies at UC Berkeley invites applications to the Lecturer Pool for teaching positions in a range of undergraduate, studio-based practice courses, such as dance technique, sources of movement, choreography, and improvisation.

We seek artists/scholars committed to progressive pedagogical practices and creative research, and colleagues who will contribute to our ongoing anti-racist efforts and curriculum updates. We are interested in adventurous and dynamic thinkers and makers with clear artistic interests and trajectories. We welcome applications from artists/scholars from multiple genres of dance practice and performance.

General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and interacting with students outside of class time via email and campus web-based course resources.
