Afro-Contemporary House Fusion with Sheila Russel

All levels of movers are welcome and will be seen and nurtured in this class. Drawing from Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and movement of the African Diaspora including House Dance, movers will hone physical health, build movement vocabulary, and respond to improvisational prompts to express their personal narratives.

Haitian Folklore & Contemporary with David Durosier

This class is an Int/Adv Heels Class for ladies. If you are an aspiring professional dancer, have very little dance experience, need something fun to get your body moving or just want to feel sexy this class is for you!

Pilates with Eyla Moore

Pilates is a system of exercises designed to to strengthen the core, lengthen the spine, increase body awareness, build muscle tone, and gain flexibility. Pilates addresses the body as a whole, correcting asymmetries and chronic weaknesses to prevent injuries and bring the body back into balance.

Hip House Soul with Jamar Welch

Hip House Soul encompasses old to new school hip hop, house style footwork (with some tap influence), and B boy band choreography (think New Edition, Jackson 5, Backstreet Boys). Jamar’s Hip House Soul class is designed to challenge and enhance coordination, isolation, cardiovascular energy and overall dance swagg.

Contemporary with Erik Lee

This contemporary class will explore dynamic movement that is founded in Ballet and Modern dance movement vocabulary like Cunningham infused with movement concepts in African diasporic dance genres and Talawa movement Technology. Body alignment, command, and improvisation are recurring themes in this class that are meant to be both informative and explorative. All levels of dance experience and body types are welcome!

Dunham Technique with Eyla Moore

Dunham Technique is a holistic modern dance technique combining mind, body & spirit. The movement in Dunham comes from ballet, modern and African diasporic forms specifically Haitian Dance. All levels are welcome. Some dance experience preferred.

Rhythm Tap with Chi Chi Okonmah

This class introduces students to the basics of rhythm tap dance. Students learn the primary tap steps, various time step combinations, classic tap patterns and acapella rhythms. The class also incorporates beginning techniques for tap dance improvisation with & without music.
