Stonestown YMCA: Folk, Line, and Social Dance

Have fun learning dances from all around the globe while cultivating community and overall mental and physical fitness. Addresses balance, strength, endurance, flexibility, rhythm, movement patterns, world cultures and history, and collaborating with others.

Instruction for true beginner dancers, designed for active older adults, all welcome, TBI-friendly.

Chairs are available for dance variations and for resting as needed.

Funded by The Dignity Fund, SF Department of Disability & Aging Services.

Masks, distancing in place in the classroom, hand sanitizer available. Covid safety measures may change, based on YMCA and SF guidelines.

Register: Come to any class meeting about 15 minutes before the start time. Sign in at the Stonestown YMCA Annex front desk for a card to use for future classes.
