FACT/SF: Winter Dance Lab

The 2023 FACT/SF Winter Dance Lab (WDL) is a short workshop designed for dancers who have already had some experience with Countertechnique. Led by Charles Slender-White, the Lab offers daily class coupled with a close examination of Countertechnique tools, principles, and applications. Participants will deepen their understanding and use of Countertechnique, and have ample time to engage in conversations about the practice. The Lab aims to offer dancers space to explore, experiment, analyze, and question.

Though the WDL is ideal for dancers who are already familiar with Countertechnique, all interested dancers are encouraged to apply. Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis until the Lab has reached its 20-person capacity.
