Our week-long aerial dance camp offers a fun, safe and supportive environment where kids and teens can explore their creativity and the diverse world of aerial dance. Working with Company Dancer, Chris Spiteri & TA, Julia Marcelus campers will learn aerial skills on a variety of apparatus (silks, hammock, hoop, trapeze) dance techniques on the floor, on the wall and in the air using rope and harness, as well as flexibility and other movement skills. Each camp week will culminate in a performance on Friday at 3:30pm where we will share our work with friends and family.
Weeks 1 and 3 are for dancers age 10-15, no prior aerial experience is necessary.
Weeks 2 and 4 are for dancers age 13-17 with some prior aerial experience.
If you are unsure which weeks would be most appropriate for your camper please email Chris Spiteri with your questions.
