Movement Liberation: Dance & Rest Workshop for People of African Descent

Contributed By:  Movement Liberation

With Arisika Razak, Valerie Chafograck and Sarah Crowell

As People of African descent, we rarely get a chance to breathe, move, play, rest, or dream together. In this daylong workshop, we will do just that. This is an invitation for us all into a state of rejuvenation and nourishment. We will explore what it means to heal within our historical, cultural and political context, and reconnect with our legacy, reimagine our future, and celebrate our personal and collective agency.

All people of African descent are welcome – Beginners and dance devotees. All ages and all genders are encouraged to attend.

Registration is required. We offer several donation options to choose from.
