Shawl-Anderson Dance Center’s Queering Dance Festival (QDF) seeks one LGBTQ+ dancer, producer and/or community member to join QDF’s Steering Committee for the 2023-2024 season. The Committee collaboratively produces the festival, setting the pace and scope of the committee’s work, iterating the structure and format of the festival in response to interests and needs of the local queer dance community. Members work collaboratively to program festival workshops and events, fundraise, develop community and organizational partnerships, support curated artists, and make sure the festival is safe, accessible, and joyful for all.
Part-time (1-10 hrs/wk), seasonal, flexible, remote and onsite
$25/hour – Members can choose to be an independent contractor or an employee of Shawl-Anderson Dance Center (benefits include free class, sick time, and discounted rentals)
