San Francisco Dance Space: Ballet and Contemporary Dance Instructors

SF Dance studio looking for enthusiastic Ballet, Repertory/Variations, Contemporary teachers to join our supportive and family oriented dance studio in business for 15+ years. Dancers currently seeking or having obtained a BFA in Dance strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
Have experience teaching beginner-advanced ballet 3-18 years of age
BFA/MFA in dance OR combination of dance education and performance experience equivalent
Comfortable teaching up 2 to 4 consecutive hours of Ballet and or Contemporary
Experience in Pointe, Jazz, Strength and Flexibility, Hip Hop, Pilates or Yoga a plus. We’re always looking to increase our class offerings!
Punctual, Attentive to detail, Organized, Responsible
Can balance lesson plan goals with an engaging class
Able to deliver clear instructions and expectations to students in a kind and encouraging manner
Comfortable interacting with parents of young dancers
Motivated, energetic and have a passion for teaching kids and teens
