How can you gain insight into your agency of your own personal mythology? What is calling you? How can you be open to guidance and wisdom? Where is the life force that empowers you to face life’s challenges? And, what if what you are searching for is already within yourself?
We are the heroes/heroines of our own personal mythology. In our body, we carry the archetypal energy of the different mythical motifs and stages of your journey toward wholeness and meaning. In this workshop series we will identify and explore those archetypes that support and inform the mythic dimension of our current stage in life, relationships, aspirations, and challenges.
Participants will be guided to identify their own individual resonances with and connections to the Joseph Cambpell’s Hero’s Journey and Maureen Murdock’s Heroine’s Journey utilizing the methodology of the Tamalpa Life/Art Process: somatic movement, movement metaphors, guided imagery, and expressive arts, and Life/Art dialogues.
