Forty years ago, Bira Almeida (Mestre Acordeon) took over fifty of his American students to Brazil to compete in an International capoeira competition. Join us as we honor and celebrate that group of pioneers. There will be songs, stories and reminiscences as well as movement and health focused workshops.
