University of San Francisco’s Performing Arts and Social Justice Department seeks a qualified instructor for our Stage Management course, with opportunities to also serve as our Production Stage Manager in Dance/Music and/or Theater and mentor student Assistant Stage Managers (ASM) for the Spring 2024 semester. Candidates should support equity and strategies for success in engaging with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ students.
This is a strictly non-Equity position.
Stage Management (2 units): course meets Fridays 10am–12pm (noon)
This introductory course explores and creates methods of documenting, communicating within, and running a production. Students also examine various art forms and industries for Stage Managers to utilize their skill sets and their mindset.
Qualifications: BA + graduate degree or professional experience (no Actors Equity Union members)
Salary: $4,200 + additional for Production Stage Manager role
