Deborah Slater Dance Theater is seeking a part-time Communications Manager to join our small team to manage our social media accounts, create and manage marketing and fundraising materials, and maintain our website. Work will be primarily conducted remotely. This is a contract position for an average of 10 hours per week at $25/hour. To apply, send a cover letter and resume to: jessica@deborahslater.org.

Desired Skills
– Strong working knowledge of Instagram/Facebook with an understanding of how to create engaging content, optimize post views, and increase engagement;
– Experience with donor engagement/fundraising and/or strong interest in developing fundraising skills;
– Experience with graphic design and Canva or similar tools;
– Familiarity with maintaining websites, experience with WordPress a plus;
– Ability to work independently and set and manage own deadlines;
– Familiarity with dance/performing arts preferred.
