The Queering Dance Festival invites all 18+ LGBTQIA2S+ dance artists working in movement-based performance to apply to present work at the 2025 FROLIC performances! Performances late March/early April in the Bay Area. Apply to present a 20-30 minute piece or an 8-12 minute piece. Compensation includes a stipend, free studio space, professional production support and photo/video documentation.
Founded in 2019, the QUEERING DANCE FESTIVAL is by and for LGBTQ+ movement artists. Through performances, events, workshops and more, QDF highlights the artistic work and issues on the minds of the queer, trans and gender-nonconforming dance community.
