The 2026 Summer Arts & Activism Project will bring 20 young women/GNC youth (Ages 14-21) from San Francisco for four weeks to:
Make site-specific dance & off-the-ground dance on suspended steel hoops, with professional choreographers Jo Kreiter and Megan Lowe.
Explore body percussion and vocalizing with Phoenix Song.
Earn $550
Create and perform your own original dances
Uplift community voices who have manifested or are working to manifest real ownership on the city’s streets.
Connect with young women/GNC youth across neighborhoods, schools, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity
