Hiring Our Next Executive Director

The ED will serve as the operational and strategic anchor for AXIS, working in close partnership with Artistic Director Nadia Adame to ensure our artistic vision has a sound and sustainable organizational home. We’re looking for someone with strong nonprofit management experience, financial and legal fluency, and a real commitment to disability justice as central to organizational identity. No prior experience in dance or disability arts required.

Location: Berkeley, CA (hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Salary: $95,000–$105,000
Benefits: 100% employer-paid Kaiser HMO Silver
Target start: May–June 2026
