Detour Productions is seeking non-union devised dance theater artists for an upcoming immersive dance-theater development process in San Francisco.
This process is part of the continued development of the company’s 2025 immersive production, Pompeii. The show draws inspiration from the Fosse cinematic universe, placing stylized performance and character-driven vignettes inside a multi-level party on the brink of volcanic collapse.
Selected artists will be invited to audition by May 18, 2026.
Audition Dates
> Sunday, May 24, 11am–3pm in San Francisco
> Tuesday, May 26, 11am–3pm in San Francisco
Artists will be notified of casting decisions by June 5, 2026.
