Amy Seiwert’s Imagery, a contemporary ballet company celebrates its tenth anniversary of the SKETCH series, with a dance film project, SKETCH FILMS : Red Thread, October – November 2020.

Featuring world premieres by SKETCH alumni including: Artistic Director Amy Seiwert, Artistic Fellow Ben Needham-Wood, Chicago based choreographer Stephanie Martinez, and NYC-based choreographer Jennifer Archibald. Both Martinez and Archibald are winners of the Joffrey Ballet’s “Winning Works: Choreographers of Color” commissions.

The first of the four films, Crack the Dark by Amy Seiwert will be released on October 1, 6:30 pm. The three remaining films will be screened on: October 16, 5 pm (Jennifer Archibald), November 5, 6:30 pm (Stephanie Martinez), and November 20, 5 pm (Ben Needham-Wood).
