Breathe is a reflection on the crazy times we have all been living through, a celebration of our ability to support each other; to move, breathe, and dance together despite it all. The work has been made for the stage in the Healing Garden with a cast of three talented Bay Area dance artists (Julie Crothers, Colin Epstein and Hannah Westbrook) and a sound score by SF composer Ben Juodvalkis.

Tara Pilbrow is a British choreographer who come to the Bay Area four years ago after twenty years dancing with contemporary dance companies in Europe. Founder of Animate Dance Festival and the Animate Shorts program, Tara is passionate about promoting dance in Alameda.
