Come join the sci-fi adventure and experience Earth in all its chaos from the perspective of a one night alien’s visit to Earth. Will it end in conquest? Artistic Director, Jen Costillo  merges ChatGPT, Dall-E and interactive wearables with innovative dance as Cat Machines Dance takes to the stage.

As the story unfolds, the alien visitor experiences contemporary life on Earth, encountering everything from war and oppression to quirky robots and social media. Finding our planet far more chaotic than expected, the extraterrestrial ultimately leaves us to our fate.

In support of the local dance community, ticket revenues for Earth: First Encounters will directly benefit Zohar Dance and DanceVisions, two nonprofit dance studios in Palo Alto.
