SUMMARY:The Still Point: An Immersive Experience
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we transform the stunning SOMArts gallery space into a liminal world of infinite possibility. This immersive dance-theater experience invites audiences to explore the performance on foot as light\, video\, and movement unfold around them. \nThe Still Point is a 70-minute\, multi-room journey combining dance\, theater\, interactive projection\, scenic installation\, and an original score. Four fractured figures are trapped in parallel worlds. As audiences move through the space\, these worlds begin to collide\, revealing a story of identity\, connection\, and transformation. \nShare:

SUMMARY:46th Annual Planetary Dance
DESCRIPTION:This community ritual—created by Anna Halprin\, who saw it as her legacy—is a participatory dance calling for peace among people and peace with the Earth. Each person declares a personal intention related to peace and then enters a series of concentric circles to run\, jog\, walk\, or pulse to a steady drumbeat. People of all ages and abilities are invited to join this dance. In Anna’s words: “When enough people move together in a common pulse with a common purpose an amazing force takes over—a power that can renew\, inspire\, teach\, create and heal.” \nShare:
