The Chitresh Das Institute’s school show features over 140 students and faculty of kathak and tabla. “Aranya Katha” (the story of the tress) in an exciting dance drama with incredible live music, is based on the true story of villagers, led by Amrita Devi, fought to protect the trees in Rajasthan, India in the year 1730. Their nonviolent resistance has impacted the environmental movement to this day.
