Chitresh Das Institute and ODC Theater co-present the world premiere of a new work exploring the confluence of history, religion and the environmental changes of some of India’s most sacred waterways. Invoking the River, a new work in kathak dance, features choreography by Charlotte Moraga, with music composed by Utsav Lal, multimedia designed by filmmaker/visual artist Alka Raghuram and features live music by Utsav Lal (piano), Nilan Chaudhuri (tabla) and Saneyee Purandare Bhattacharjee (Indian classical vocals).
