Groovement is about finding a sense of comfort and groove within the container of a structured class that emphasizes rhythm, musicality, and authenticity. dana shares the movement that comes most naturally to her: a hybrid reinterpretation of experiences dancing at home, in studios, and in clubs. Fueled by Afro/soulful house, Afrobeats, hip-hop, RnB, jazz, and reggae, Groovement is an Afrocentric, QTBIPOC-friendly, liberation-focused, hate-free, pro-love space. All levels, all ages welcome. Comfort with music and movement is helpful. Sweats or other comfy clothes and sneakers suggested.
