Want to leap higher, dance longer, and prevent injury? Cross-training for dancers involves incorporating activities outside of regular dance technique to improve strength, endurance, and agility while preventing injuries. This helps balance muscle development, corrects muscle imbalances, and builds a dancer’s stamina and overall performance.

In the dance world, we often equate progress with pushing harder. But from a physiological standpoint, recovery is where adaptation happens. Learn and practice the most critical aspects of recovery to help you prevent injury and dance longer.
