In their signature tech-saturated and captivating performance style, Driven Arts Collective picks up the story of the Community Emotional Light Sound Organism (CELSO) in a world in which the challenges presented by ecological devastation require radical adaptation and re-evaluation of the potential of technology to make or break human survival and societal coherence. Resulting in the emergence of two distinct ideologies – hibernation and retreat to digital fantasy vs extreme optimization – we follow a thread of inquiry to ask ourselves, what are the minimal requirements for humanity to survive and flourish through these uncertain times?

The culmination of a 4-week residency, this performance will feature original muse EEG instruments, live vocal, musical, and dance performances, as well as opportunities for audience participation in generative sound and videoscapes, ‘Prelude to Milk‘ provides an immersive playspace for communal exploration of nurturance, sustenance, and the situations that present us with opportunities to make brave choices to evolve in congruence with the Ultimate Mother – Nature.
