Joe Goode Performance Group: GUSH Festival 2022

Joe Goode Performance Group (JGPG) is pleased to present the second bi-annual GUSH Festival, with side-by-side premieres of new works by Joe Goode Performance Group, brontë velez, and Gizeh Muñiz-Vengel & Ernesto Peart Falcón. This year’s GUSH artists look at intergenerational queer lineage (JGPG), movement as an offering/ofrenda to the future us while caring for nostalgia (Muñiz-Vengel & Falcón), and black liminality and levity (velez). GUSH is collaboratively curated by the 2020 GUSH Artist cohort: Joe Goode, NAKA Dance Theater and GERALDCASELDANCE.

**Sun, Sep 18 is a special JGPG VIP evening featuring JGPG’s newest work I Understand alongside intimate performances of JGPG works, looking back at excerpts from The Resilience Project, Time of Change, Nobody Lives Here Now and Still Standing; with a special glimpse of what’s to come in 2023: the new immersive work, As We Go.**
