Nancy Karp + Dancers perform at 39th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition

FreeNancy Karp has created a new site-specific dance for the 39th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition. This year’s piece showcases movement inspired by the changing light and shifting water patterns she witnessed in the canals in Venice, Italy during her Emily Harvey Foundation artist residency.
The new site-specific work interacts directly with the exhibition design and the architectural elements of the building. The audience will have the opportunity to experience the fluidity of boundaries between the performers, the public, and the artwork.
