Play Motion Lab is a revamped workshop series dedicated to movers.

Led by founding director Peter Cheng and former San Francisco-based dancer and choreographer, we invite you into a world anchored in pulse, sensation, precision, and play. Each Play Motion Lab session kicks off with a guided warm-up, steering movers through a purposeful scan of the body, zeroing in on the inherent symmetry and opposition of the joints.

Each session will dive into task-based improvisation, playful exploration, and sleek phrase work crafted to strategically push the boundaries of the mind through space.
