When Eyes Speak presents “Saabit Qadam – Perseverance” ft. Farah Yasmeen Shaikh and Noorani Dance Company along with Nikita Shah.
We present the 5th iteration of When Eyes Speak, San Francisco’s First South Asian Choreography Festival, curated by Preethi Ramaprasad and Shruti Abhishek.
“Saabit Qadam – Perseverance” is Farah Yasmeen Shaikh and Noorani Dance Company’s humble way of honoring the artists of Pakistan – highlighting some that have been of great personal nostalgic influence, from childhood to present day. The show also features the artwork of Kalamkari artist and designer Nikita Shah.
