SUMMARY:Baroque Dancing in Person: Essentials of 18th century ballet
DESCRIPTION:Two 3-hour intensives with emphasis on guiding each student toward their own experience of Baroque dance\, no matter the level. This is a somatic class with emphasis on ergonomic movement tailored to each student’s ability. We will explore the interpretations of 18th century ballet aesthetics and learn choreographies from an early form of dance notation created under the rule of Louis XIV of France. \nBend\, rise\, fall\, spring\, slide\, spin\, spiral and curve into this multi-level\, low-impact class. Join one or both sessions. You may take the second one without having done the first one.
