SUMMARY:intergalactic improvisations
DESCRIPTION:Join pateldanceworks for an improv-based movement class that offers space for individual and group engagement with imagery-based refusal and anti-urgency as a way to realize different ways of being in and relating to the world. We will play\, imagine\, and travel with Lola Olufemi’s concept of “imagining otherwise” alongside Heather Love’s provocation for a queer method of “feeling backward” to meet past\, present\, and future simultaneously. \nNo movement experience required\, just a willingness for presence together.
