Creating Community Dance Rituals

April 24 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Free

This workshop will invite participants to work together to explore how we can use dance as a community ritual to acknowledge, commemorate, and even shift states of being. Using both reflective practice and dance/movement therapy techniques, Jess will guide participants in an improvisational process where they will first identify community needs and create movement phrases that both reflect and respond to these needs.  No dance experience is required.
