We’re excited to kick off our first Pangalay Circle workshop of the year during Bay Area Dance Week at Sentro Filipino, led by Jan Luce. Together, we’ll ground in traditional Pangalay movement and explore how it can live and evolve through our diasporic, contemporary bodies, honoring both lineage and lived experience.
Pangalay Circle is a community-centered workshop series rooted in Philippine dance, offering space to learn, reflect, and connect through movement, culture, and shared diasporic experience.
