Tropicali Dancehall Class with Aimee Rose

Dancehall is a style of dance from the parties of Jamaica. In this class you will learn body basics, technique, and the signature codified steps used in Dancehall. You will also learn about the history of the dance, it’s current evolution, the culture around Dancehall and its steps, and the people behind the dance.

Location Tips
Street parking around Dance Mission can be difficult. We recommend taking public transportation. We are on MUNI Lines 12, 14, 49, 47, 48, 67, and 29 and are directly across from the 24/Mission BART Station. If you decide to drive, give yourself time to find parking. The closest lot is @ 21/Bartlett.
