Bay Area Dance Week Kickoff & One Dance

FreeJoin us at the kickoff with a community celebration!
Rhythm & Motion will lead One Dance, a routine designed for all levels to perform together.
One Dance 2026, the high energy and family friendly dance is a mix of two songs: Makeba (Ian Asher remix) by Jain and Energy by Mical Teja. Everyone is welcome to participate and perform this with us live!! No experience required!

And the celebration won’t stop there. After One Dance, keep the celebration going with a 30-minute Soul Line Dance class led by Oakland’s own Chocolate Platinum! Soul Line Dance combines line dance footwork with R&B, Hip Hop, Motown and more, and Chocolate Platinum brings infectious energy and joy that will have everyone moving, whether you’re a seasoned line dancer or a first-timer.
