How does the human body integrate with our land and our environment? Anna Halprin has been meditating on this question throughout her 50-year dance career. This project, one of the most important of Halprin’s long career, was a collaborative investigation of the site her husband Lawrence Halprin designed in 2005. In Lawrence’s words, Stern Grove is “a mystical place where one would be inspired to reach into oneself.”
