David Szlasa works with video in performance and public art. Collaborators include Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Theaster Gates, Dohee Lee, Joanna Haigood, Rennie Harris, Deb Margolin, Bill Shannon, Michael John Garcés, Myra Melford, and Sara Shelton Mann. His work has been exhibited in theaters and galleries worldwide including Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Walker Arts Center, Chicago MCA, Sydney Opera House, Oakland Art Gallery, Harare International Festival of the Arts, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and TSeKh Moscow.
